Page comments Hi Tom, I used the supplied profile from Lexjet which I found to be very good. As mentioned, we managed to get an excellent match between the eSatin and the Sunset Gloss. Sun, 27 May 2012 20:06:42 +0000 Graeme McKinstry Hi Folks, Thanks for posting your findings. I'm also a canon ipf8300 user and am very interested in trying Lexjet's sunset gloss. I was just leery about being able to get a good profile (using i1pro) off a textured gloss surface, but maybe this is a non issue. Can you scan the targets straight out of the printer or do you need to coat them first to tone down the glossiness? Thanks again, Sincerely, Tom Saunders Edmonton, Canada Sat, 26 May 2012 04:43:15 +0000 Tom Saunders Thanks for sending the book! Both my Mum, who is a professional proofreader, and myself have really enjoyed and learned from it. Regards, Tim. I really like LyX but found that cajoling collaborators and editors into dealing with LaTeX / pdf was too much effort. One of the benefits to LaTeX/LyX for me was the sweave integration with R. I've now switched to using OpenOffice with R/odfWeave and Zotero and that works nicely. Still I miss the beautiful output LaTeX and ease of Bibtex.
